Definition-Noun is the name of a person, place,thing, animal,bird.
किसी व्यक्ति, वस्तु ,स्थान ,गुण, कार्य ,अवस्था के नाम को (Noun) संज्ञा कहा जाता है।
Kinds of noun:
1-Proper Noun(व्यक्तिवाचक)
2-Common Noun (जातिवाचक)
3-Collective Noun(समूहवाचक)
4-Material Noun /Concrete Noun( पदार्थ वाचक)
5-Abstract Noun. (भाव वाचक)
1-Proper Noun-Proper nouns are individual names of persons, places, animals or continent, Newspaper.Buildings, rivers,
, Country, months,days etc.
As,Shyam, Mumbai,Tomy, Hindustan Times, The Taj Mahal, The Ganga, Himalayas,
2-Common Noun-Common nouns are names of persons,places,animals and things that are common to everyone or everything belonging to that group.
As King,boy,man, teacher,bird,cow, river, building, insects.
3-Collective Nouns- Collective nouns are words that name a group of persons, places, animals or things which are thought as a single unit,team, committee.
As, bunch of grapes, murder of crows,pride of lions, pack of wolves,
Army,team,mob,Herd, orchard,
4-Abstract Noun- Abstract nouns are Names of things that do not have a material form. They refer to the name of ideas, concept,feelings and events ऐसीwe cannot see, hear, smell, taste or touch them.
As- truth, honesty, confidence, Idea, justice, responsibility, hope, childhood .
5-Concrete Nouns-Concrete nouns are names of things that have a material form. We can experience them through our five senses.We can see,hear,smell,taste and touch them.
As- chair, hair, keyboard,house ,pen, bed, sugar,oil, brick.
