Poem - 2           WIND   by Subramanian      Bharati       Introduction  The poem wind was originally written in Tamil.This Poem highlights  both the aspects  of nature constructive as well as destructive. According to the poet the wind tease troubles and makes fun of those who are weak. On the other hand, the same wind friendly to those human beings who are strong and have firm minds. In the end, the poet says that it is good to have the friendship of the wind. SUMMARY The poet observes that the wind breaks the shutters of the windows, scatters the papers and throws down the books lying on the shelf. He appeals to the wind to blow gently But the wind goes its own way. The wind brings the rain again.
