Poem -1 The Road Not Taken - Robert Frost About Poet - Robert Frost (March 26, 1874- January 29, 1963) was an American poet. He depicted the rustic life realistically He was known for his command on colloquial speech. He explored the rural setting of New England for examining deeper issues of philosophy and life values. His first published poem "My Butterfly" appeared on November 8, 1894 in the New York newspaper- The Independent. Ezra Pound, a British poet, helped Frost to promote and publish his work.
